Stage Four-point-Five: Journaling Break

Today's itinerary advice: Stop and smell the flowers... or make some.
Here is the completed video. It was filmed Thursday and Saturday, and continuously edited up through yesterday. As I relearned through this process, video editing is one of the most tedious things ever - I do enjoy it though. Hopefully you like the final product. :)
I brought my giant pile of balloon animals to church again, and took a few photographs of the kids with the balloons (seen in the video). I am also very excited because some of my friends are having a Relay-for-Life team fundraiser lunch this Saturday, and they asked me to make balloon animals there. I think it'll be a really fun experience, and definitely a great near-conclusion of this project.

  1. Aw Liliana! I think it's amazing that you've already started using your skills in your own life to make others happy. I know this was one of your reasons for choosing to pursue balloon animal art, but I'm still in awe at how you were able to accomplish that goal in such a short period of time. I like how you were trying to talk as you made the dog because it showed your dedication in learning to not only make the animal, but to be a true entertainer as well. I'm excited to see your Ted Talk!

  2. This is so cool!!! This vlog was really well done! I especially love the ending when you showed the mistakes that you made, like the video that you referenced. I'm so glad that this project makes you so happy, and it's awesome that you were able to make so many things during class today! You seemed to really enjoy it and I enjoyed the pig you made me! I'm so glad that this project isn't only affecting you, but it's also making little kids happy! That would be an awesome thing to mention in your ted talk!

  4. Looked like those kids were having fun with those balloons. You did a great job handling all of this. You knew exactly what you were supposed to do, which is obviously the point of this project. Im happy that you got to have fun, and Im happy you learned so much, and made some kids days.
